To have such fantastic writers is an honor for us. Sometimes they turn out to be liked by all, sometimes they are not so great but all in all they are the outcomes of hard work. Some of the famous songwriters that the Nepali film industry is gifted with are Dr. They bring in happiness and sorrow, smiles and tears all in ones. They donвЂ™t just entertain us but bring a lot more than that to our lives. They are talented in their own unique way and the film industry as well as the audience is grateful to have them among us. Some write for country, some for love and many have other genre but all in all they are all writers. The genre of song writing differs from one song writer to another as well. Some are veteran in their work, some have just begun. In Nepal, there are many lyricists and song writers. The meanings change from one person to another, the perception changes from time to time and they can make you feel different according to the way you feel. They can take it in the way they want to and that is the beauty of words. Every person interprets it in his/her own way. You can never have a single perception or a single meaning to any word or line or a text. A song that is sung for love for a woman can have different meaning to some one else. But the magic behind words is that there can be many meanings to it.

Most of the times the lyrics are related to love. Thus as the soulful music the deep lyrics are of as much importance too. A few words when swirled within music can create magic. And without good words no music is worthwhile. With out lyrics there would be no songs, no singers and no composers. Among them we canвЂ™t over look the significant contribution that the song writers/lyricists have made.

Singers like Udit Narayan Jha are the living examples of Nepali born talents who have gracefully offered their work to the international film fraternity as well. The talented musical personals have had the glory to represent us in the international arena. We have had the honor to have a team of talented musicians, singers and lyricists who have given us with so many evergreen songs. These of the music and lyrics have created history in the entire music industry of Nepal. They use traditional and folk music that represents Nepali culture and nationality. Nepali film music is unique in its own way. One of such aspects is the music or the song. Nepali movies have its originality in many aspects of film making. Although we have imitated the style of direction and storylines we canвЂ™t call it a one to one copy. Many accuse Nepali movies to have been copied from the neighboring Bollywood but this isnвЂ™t true in all aspects. It may be a song of any language but the lyrics is what the singers give their voice to and what the composers make music for. However if people pay attention to the lyrics, they will find older songs stronger. Because of the fact that current music and singers are trendy and are most played in the media, they get stuck in peopleвЂ™s mind. If it was only the music or the singers that were important then I would be listening only current music. This is one of the reasons why I love listening to old songs. A song lives long if all three aspects of it are strong most of the evergreens that we know belong to this category of songs.ДЇor my part, I also enjoy a combination of these three elements.

There are others for whom all three aspects of a song make an impact. For others it is the singers who steal their hearts still for some it is the lyrics that pulls them to the songs. For many people it is the music that matters the most in songs.
